We’ve got used to see some of the biggest names in fashion launch a collection in collaboration with H&M each year, and it seems like we won’t be disappointed this year either. Olivier Rousteing is the Creative Director of the French house Balmain and next in line to sign a collection that has become a tradition at H&M… a very-well received tradition by H&M customers.
[pull_quote_center]We are excited to have Balmain as our guest designer at H&M and create a truly involving experience for everybody. With its mix of couture spirit and streetwear attitude, Balmain owns a unique style, at once opulent and direct, sensual and energetic. It is also closely linked to the show business and music world, which adds another element of surprise[/pull_quote_center]
Ann-Sofie Johansson, Creative Advisor at H&M.
But what should we expect from Balmain?
For those of you not familiar with the Balmain fashion, Olivier Rousteing signature style is a mix of haute-couture and ready-to wear and includes leather pants, sharp shoulders, sheer, satin and a lot of embellishments.
It will be interesting to see how he will adapt his glamorous style to the high-street fashion.
The collection will be available in selected H&M stores starting November 5, and will feature clothing and accessories for men and women.
