UrbanFamilyPlaces. Nice places to eat – Stadio

You know those days when you don’t feel like cooking? This happens a lot on weekends so we usually get out, all 3 of us. I thought it would be a good idea to show you the places we try and can recommend to take your kid too.

Last Saturday we chose Stadio, a restaurant downtown Bucharest. During the week it’s almost impossible to park close to it, but you can do it at the underground parking near the University Square and walk for about 3-4 minutes.  Because it was Saturday at noon, we parked right outside the place. The restaurant is not small, so there’s plenty of sitting areas. It has an atrium right in the middle, so it feels very spacious. It was very quiet when we arrived and our order was taken very fast.

The food is really good and you have plenty of things to choose from, including some delicious burgers. Erica (3 years old) ate something called “That’s a wrap”, a pita with spinach, hummus and grilled vegetables, and she loved it.

If you’re with your kids, it’s nice to sit on a bench like we did, because it’s easier for them to take all their toys out and play or take a little nap while the food is being cooked.

The restaurant doesn’t have a children’s playground, but we didn’t feel the need of one. The overall experience was really good, nice staff, fast delivery of food and good time.

The pictures speak for themselves…
