The girl who truly made shoes a legend is the one and only Cinderella. Maybe this is how we can explain women’s addictions to shoes… we probably all secretly dream of a magical moment involving losing a shoe and finding Mr Right. As if that would ever happen…
With the release of the new movie this March and a very smart marketing campaign, the most famous shoe designers of the world reinterpreted the legendary glass slippers into some wearable versions, available to order in selected stores around the world:
- United States – Saks Fifth Avenue (New York and Beverly Hills)
- London – Harrods
- Paris – Galeries Lafayette
- Milan – Excelsior Milano
- Moscow – Tsum
- Tokyo − Isetan Shinjuku
- Dubai – Level Shoe District, The Dubai Mall
Magical or not, for shoe lovers, these shoes might become as legendary as Cinderella itself, as they could be considered true masterpieces.
Let’s meet the designers and their Cinderella shoes:
Nicholas Kirkwood
Stuart Weitzman
Jimmy Choo
Paul Andrew
Jerome Rousseau
Charlotte Olympia
Alexandre Birman
Salvatore Ferragamo
Renee Caovilla

My favorite is the one signed by Nicholas Kirkwood. So even if I found my Prince charming and did not involved loss of any shoe, I can only dream about wearing these ones at our 25 years wedding anniversary. That leaves my husband 20 years to buy me some. 🙂
Which one is your favorite?
Let’s have a magical week Divas,
Gia
